3A Molecular Sieve

3A Molecular Sieve

Quick Enquiry Form

Molecular sieves are synthetic zeolite, molecular sieve 3a are type A zeolite. Molecular sieve are hydrated metal alumino-silicates crystalline. Molecular sieve 3a is having a definite pore size of 30. The adsorption capacity of molecular sieve will depend on the pore size and pore volume of the molecular sieve. It is sodium based alumino-silicates. It works on the principle of adsorption. It is also known as potassium form of the type A.

Sorbead India is the largest supplier of molecular sieve series available in beaded, pelleted & powder foam based in India. Molecular sieve is manufactured under controlled temperature and dry conditions. 3a zeolite is effectively adsorbs the moisture and other molecule with a kinetic diameter of less than 3a. It can exclude molecule with a kinetic diameter of greater than 3A°. For Olefin drying like ethylene, propylene and butadiene 3a is the ideal choice. Drying of alkyone, polar liquids like methanol and ethanol, 3a molecular sieve is used. Cracking gas and cracking liquid drying 3a will be the best option. It also used in various solvent drying and in insulating glass window.
