Rayon Coils
Rayon is a synthetic fiber made from cellulose. These are soft odorless fiber with no adverse effect on the pharmaceutical product. It is used as a pharmaceutical coil to remove the headspace present in container. During transit, tablets lead to chipping giving them unaesthetic feel to the patients. To prevent this rayon is used as filler. It is expressed of 100% absorbent rayon fibers. Rayon coils are used to ensure pharma products stability and prevent pharmaceutical capsules or tablets from damage during shipping periods.
Rayon is bio-degradable product with 11% moisture content. It can be easily cut into desired length. Quality control of Rayon coil is done as per USP monograph. DMF no is 6855. Available in various sizes like 6gm/yard, 9gm/yard, 12gm/yard, 16gm/yard, 20gm/yard.
Sorbead India launched pharmaceutical rayon fiber coils for pharmaceutical packaging to protect bottle packaging. Coils are USFDA approved and DMF free with available number.
