Moisture Adsorbing Activ-Film Description

CSP's moisture adsorbing Activ-Films™ can be seamlessly introduced into your existing packaging configuration in a way that is not obvious to the consumer. CSP's Activ-Films™ that can be laminated or adhered to foil substrates. Affixing the Activ-Films™ directly to foil reduces the likelihood that a customer will discard or ingest the desiccant inadvertantly. It also eliminates having a loose desiccant in the package.

Our moisture adsorbing films can be formulated with silica gel or molecular sieve. These films can be supplied on continuous reels or die cut and supplied either on reels or individually. Application modules can be readily adapted to existing packaging lines.



With CSP Technologies Activ-Films™, you can seamlessly incorporate a 3 phase active polymer into your existing packaging configuration. These films are the perfect solution for a wide variety of packaging formats including foil pouches, stickpacks, and blister packs. CSP Activ-Films™ are available in a variety of formulations for absorbing moisture, oxygen, or certain volatile off-gases. We even have films available that can release agents such as Chlorine Dioxide and Carbon Dioxide. Our Activ-Films™ are extruded to thicknesses ranging from .3mm to .6mm. There are a variety of finished form configurations to suit your needs, including die-cut single pieces or large reels. Selecting the correct film for your application is dependant upon a multitude of factors.
